New Restaurant:Thai’s Thumbz

In no way shape or form am I a complete Thai food addict but ever since I started eating Thai’s Thumbz Urban Kitchen that has changed. I can say I am addicted to the green curry that they serve here…literally having it almost every day. Okay maybe not every day but very often! Thai food has never tasted so good to me since most of the restaurants I have been to have americanized their food items to please the crowds. However, I find that more people are now more educated in food and want the real stuff instead of the overly sweet Thai food that is being served.

I currently work here at Thai’s Thumbz, and I will tell you ahead of time that I am not writing this review just because I work here and I’m trying to get more customers. I am writing about this restaurant because the food should be enjoyed by everyone who can come here. It is absolutely good food, to put in better terms this food is made by the owner’s mother who is working so hard in the back of this kitchen making the different curries, noodle dishes, and the thumbz up menu items. I’ve almost tried everything on the menu and believe me when I say that I can not get enough of it.

This specific dish here is called “Kao-Soi” and our menu items come with the choices of chicken, beef, poirk, vegetables, tofu and shrimp(with an additional price of $2). I love this dish!! It is egg noodles cooked in coconut milk and yellow curry that is luxurious. Served with fried shallots, green onions, red onion, cilantro and crispy egg noodles on top that it gives you awesome contrasts on texture.

The Pad Thai we serve is excellent! The noodles are cooked perfectly and I can assure you if you get chicken or beef with this dish it pairs well with the sauce that it is cooked in!! One of our best selling dishes!!

This dish here is called “Kua Kai” and it’s a flat noodle dish with chicken! Really great flavors packed into this dish and it is not over powering either. Very comforting dish that I love having after a morning shift!!

I hope everyone gets to try out this restaurant and please do come!! Also if you check into Yelp and show your server that you have by your smartphone then you get a free Thai Tea!! Which I will say is absolutely delicious!! We also allow customers to bring your own bottle, so if you are bringing bottles of wine whites are usually suggested to go with Thai food such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, or Gewurztraminer. If you wanted to bring red we suggest a Pinot Noir, or a red that is low in alcohol and low in tannins. We hope you all enjoy this restaurant if you do come!! Please leave us reviews on Yelp to let us know how everything went!
